Together, the team treats all types of cancer
But, we’re especially well-known for our successful
treatment of two of the most common types of cancer: breast cancer and
prostate cancer.
Breast cancer
is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women. In the United
States, one woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes. Last year, nearly 200,000 women received a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment and treatment.
But, you’ll never be just a number to us. To us, you’re a wife, a
mother, a sister, a friend. That’s why we specialize in the most
highly sophisticated methods of chemotherapy
and radiation therapy (IMRT and
IGRT) available today, including
MammoSite therapy which offers low cancer recurrence rates and
improved cosmetic outcomes. Other breast
cancer treatment options include external beam
radiation therapy,
chemotherapy and hormone therapy.
Together, we’ll design a breast cancer treatment plan that is right for you. And
with locations throughout North Texas, we’re proud to provide your care in
an intimate setting that’s close to home.
Prostate cancer used to mean invasive surgeries
with life-limiting side effects. Today, many men with prostate cancer
are candidates for prostate seed
implants. After this procedure, seed implants release
site-specific radiation for weeks or months. Nearly two decades of
research confirm this type of treatment can be as successful as surgery,
with much less down time and fewer long-lasting side effects, which means
you’ll be back to working on your golf swing in no time. Other
cancer treatment options for prostate
cancer include radiation therapy
(IMRT and IGRT), hormone therapy and
chemotherapy.
No
matter what your cancer diagnosis, we’re dedicated to finding a treatment
plan that works for you. Welcome to our family. We’re in this
together, and we’ll be here for you every step of the way.
