Dr. Gregory Echt, M.D.

I have the utmost respect for science and it is thrilling to see how science continues to impact the advancements made in oncology. But there’s nothing more exciting than being able to treat someone on a personal level. I am honored to work with my patients because they are the face of true heroism in cancer care.”~ Dr. Gregory Echt

The founder of Choice Cancer Care, the cancer care group of which Las Colinas Cancer Center is a part, Dr. Gregory Echt is a board-certified radiation oncologist. Born and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Echt came by his profession honestly, following in the footsteps of his father who was also a physician. He pursued his bachelor’s degree and eventually his medical degree from Indiana University and completed his internship and residency at Los Angeles County – University of Southern California.

Following his residency, Dr. Echt began a radiation oncology practice in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with a commitment to providing excellence in cancer care. This treatment philosophy has carried with him for the two decades that he has been treating cancer patients and while Dr. Echt has been nationally recognized for his ongoing research in brachytherapy and the treatment of prostate cancer, he is most proud of the recognition he receives from his patients for his compassionate, respectful approach to patient care.
