Gregory Echt, M.D., radiation oncologist,
leads radiation oncology programs at Las Colinas Cancer Center in Irving,
Medical City Hospital in Dallas, and North Texas Cancer Center of Wise
in Decatur. He also provides prostate seed implantation treatment in private
surgery centers across the north Texas region. In addition, he is involved
in clinical research for prostate cancer advancements.
Echt graduated from Indiana University and earned his medical degree
at Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed an internship and
residency at Los Angeles County-University of Southern California in Los
Angeles, California. He is board-certified in radiation oncology by the
American Board of Radiology, has published numerous articles, and is active

Kiran Kancharla, M.D. is board certified in Hematology/Oncology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Kancharla graduated from Osmania Medical School in India. She, then, completed both her residency and fellowship training at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Kancharla has been in practice for over
8 years. She worked for several years at Dallas Presbyterian Hospital prior to joining Southlake Oncology in August 2008. She works at both the Southlake and Irving locations.
Dr. Kancharla has a special interest in Breast Cancer, Lymphomas, Gastrointestinal and Lung Cancers but she is well trained to treat a broad range of benign hematology and other malignancies. Dr. Kancharla is very compassionate and empathetic, and her goal is to always be available and spend enough time with all her patients and their families to make the cancer journey as simple as possible. Dr. Kancharla was motivated to do an Oncology fellowship following her personal experience, taking care of her father who was diagnosed with Lymphoma at age 42.
Dr. Kancharla has been married for 18 years and is blessed with a supportive & caring husband and a lovely 14 year old son and 12 year old daughter. She enjoys cooking, music and traveling.
