Dr. Lee Drinkard, M.D.

Board-certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology from the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Lee Drinkard specializes in the newest, most cutting-edge techniques available for treating lung cancer, breast cancer and colon cancer, along with other types of cancers and blood disorders.

Earning his medical degree from West Virginia University, Dr. Drinkard completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University. Following his residency, Dr. Drinkard went on to complete a three-year fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Drinkard is a member of the clinical faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine and has authored numerous studies and publications in the subject of oncology. Additionally, Dr. Drinkard participates in a variety of national clinical trials.

Dr. Drinkard sees his patients at Las Colinas Cancer Center, as well as at Southlake Oncology and Lewisville/Flower Mound Oncology Group.

Dr. Drinkard lives in Las Colinas where, in his free time he enjoys studying history - with a focus on religion and U.S. History - and delving into technology.
