Dr. Aena Patel

Oncology is a field that needs physicians who not only understand the clinical aspects and management of the diseases, but also have a humanistic approach to practicing the art of oncology. Because of her dedication to her patients, Choice Cancer Care is happy to welcome Dr. Aena Patel to the team.

People who know Dr. Aena Patel say that one of her biggest strengths is her compassion for her patients. She has been recognized for her excellence in clinical care by being inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and receiving the Humanistic Resident of the Year award during her residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Patel has a special interest in providing care for patients with breast cancer and genitourinary cancers (bladder cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and renal cancers). She enjoys collaborating with the referring physicians to ensure proper follow through on the recommendations.

Dr. Patel was raised in Plano, TX. She is proud to be able to practice medicine close to home and to serve her community. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cheering the Texas Longhorns, and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
